THE PEACEMAKER

The Peacemaker package is designed for individuals who tend to prioritize peace and harmony over their own needs, often to the detriment of their true desires and sense of self. Those with this core trait often struggle with conflict, both external and internal, and find themselves seeking to avoid tension or discomfort at all costs. This inclination toward maintaining peace can lead to difficulty in asserting personal boundaries, making decisions, and fully embracing one’s own identity and desires.

Therapy for this individual focuses on uncovering the patterns that lead to emotional suppression and disengagement, as well as learning how to recognize and express authentic needs and desires. It is not uncommon for individuals in this group to experience numbness, a sense of disconnection from their own feelings, or difficulty identifying their true desires in relationships, work, and other aspects of life. They may also struggle with people-pleasing behaviors, or find themselves feeling overwhelmed by the expectations of others.

This package integrates a range of therapeutic tools, including EMDR, parts work, somatic techniques, and exposure therapy, to help individuals confront and release the deep-seated tendencies that have kept them passive, stuck, or disengaged. The use of EMDR addresses unresolved emotional trauma that may be preventing deeper emotional engagement and expression. Parts work focuses on identifying and reconciling the different aspects of the self that have been compartmentalized or suppressed in the name of peace. Somatic practices help individuals reconnect to the body and its wisdom, while exposure techniques encourage active engagement with discomfort and conflict in order to increase resilience and self-advocacy.

The result of this therapeutic work is an individual who is more fully present in their own life—someone who has a greater capacity to assert themselves, express their needs, and engage authentically with the world. The healthiest version of this individual is not passive or conflict-avoidant, but rather calm, grounded, and deeply connected to their own sense of self-worth and purpose. They learn that true peace is not about avoiding conflict but about cultivating inner harmony through self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and balanced relationships.
